Forecast: Prepare for hot, humid, hazy conditions

Hot, humid, and hazy today and all work week long.
Trade winds hopefully will return by week's end. But in the meantime, prepare for uncomfortable conditions. Vog, or volcanic haze will hang in the sky with light or no winds.

Honolulu will have a sticky high of 83 degrees.
Sea breezes could develop mid afternoon and create a few clouds and showers over interior and leeward neighborhoods.

Surf is building along north and west shores today and will peak right at low-end advisory levels. Here's the surf forecast for today: North 10-15 feet, west 8-12 feet, east 3 feet or less, south 1-3 feet.
